zadar-travel.com, rentergo.com, zadarcenterapartments.com are websites owned by the tourist agency Rentergo, Jakše Čedomila Čuke 4, Zadar ("Rentergo", “Agency” “we”, “us”, “our”) a company registered in Zadar, Jakše Čedomila Čuke 4, Croatia, VAT number 20311286433; ID code: HR-AB-23-13010011121. MBS: 97675881. We mediate in renting private accommodation between clients (“Guest, Renter”, “Customer”, “you”) and house-owners/property managers (“Owner”)
1. USE OF OUR WEBSITE
By accessing this website you agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, you may not use or access our service.
Except where otherwise noted, the contents of this website including the design, text, graphics, photos and arrangement of the pages are our property and are our copyrighted material or that of the relevant content providers. The contents of the Site are protected by the Croatian and international copyright laws. You may only use the website to make legitimate inquiries and bookings, as well as for other actions foreseen by the Site. You must not copy, transmit, modify, reproduce, download or use for any commercial purpose or for any purposes which are unlawful. All rights are reserved.
The Guest bounds to provide correct personal information where required (name, e-mail address, etc.) and agrees that the Agency may use this information for future contacts. You are not allowed to provide incorrect information or make fictitious bookings, in case of which the Agency preserves the right to cancel the contract with the Guest at his expenses.
In order to improve the services of the website, this Terms and conditions might be subject to change at any time without notice. The Agency is not responsible for the content of any off-site pages or any other sites linked to the Site.
2. CONTENTS OF CONDITIONS FOR OFFERING SERVICES FOR ACCOMMODATION
Agency acts as agent for the Owners of the holiday properties featured on this Site. We are authorized to contract rentals in the name and on behalf of Owners of properties offered (according to the Croatian VAT regulations, i.e. the Value Added Tax Act, article 10, paragraphs 3 and 4), at the prices defined for the current season.
Agency guarantee the authenticity and accuracy of all descriptions and photos at the moment of their creation. We are not responsible for possible divergences in cases where Owners subsequently modified their offer, without notifying the Agency.
If you book a holiday through us, once your holiday has been confirmed, we will accept responsibility for it in accordance with this Terms and conditions. If you have any queries, please contact us before making any booking for any service. Once you have made the deposit payment for the booking, it is deemed that you have read, understood and accepted the Terms and conditions for the booking. Rentals commence from 15.00 on the first day of the rental (check-in) and end at 10.00 on the day of departure (check-out), unless otherwise notified.
3. RESERVATIONS
Reservation of accommodation or services is possible on-line via the Internet , by instant booking, by sending the application form to the e-mail or by telephone. When signing up, the user / traveller is required to provide all the information or documents required by the specific travel program.
With the payment of the reservation Guest confirms he has studied and understands "General conditions for accommodation services offer" and accepts it in full. With payment of the reservation, the agreement becomes a legal obligation to the Guest as well as to Agency. The booking is confirmed only after the advanced payment has been made.
4. PAYMENT AND COSTS
When booking a holiday, the Customer is required to pay online a deposit upfront (10%) and the remaining amount upon arrival in the accommodation, in cash. In certain accommodation units, the remaining amount may be paid by credit card, as stated in the General Policy of the accommodation facility. In the event that the Guest wishes to pay the full amount of the reservation in advance, payment need to be made not later than 14 days before arrival, and is obligated to inform the Agency in advance by e-mail at info@rentergo.com. The Agency reserves the right to accept or reject such request.
All prices for accommodation and services are published on the website. Optional services listed but not selected at the time of your booking will not be included in the final price. If later required, the Guest will have to pay for these separately, on the spot and in the currency of the destination country.
The Agency reserves the right to request payment of the deposit as collateral for any damage caused by inadequate use of the accommodation unit by the Guest. The same shall be returned to the Guest upon termination of service if it is found that no inventory damage occurred. In the event that the same has occurred, the Owner and/or Agency reserves the right to charge the damage caused on the accommodation unit inventory
All prices on the Web site are quoted in Euros (EUR), all fully inclusive of VAT and sojourn tax. In certain cases the sojourn tax is not included in the price of the stay and the Guest pays in cash upon arrival at the accommodation facility.
Advance payment, rate or full amount of arrangement can be made by internet banking / general payment at the agency's account or via online payment link / internet store. Online payment is made through MyPos™.
Payments to the online store zadar-travel.com and zadarcenterapartments.com are possible with the following cards: American Express, Maestro, MasterCard, Visa, Bancontact, JCB. When choosing a payment card, you will be redirected to a security-protected page where you need to enter the required personal information and card information. Your data is not available at any time at Rentergo. The entry and transfer of personal data and credit card number data is protected by the highest security standards provided by the MyPos™ system for online authorization and credit card payment in accordance with card and card brands requirements and PCI DSS standards. When charging your credit card, the same amount is converted into your local currency according to the exchange rate of credit card associations. As a result of this conversion there is a possibility of a slight difference from the original price stated in our web site.
Authorization and credit card payment is done by using the MyPos™ system for authorization and real-time card billing. Once the payment process is complete, the payment receipt will arrive at the email address of the reservation carrier. Because it is systemically issued, we encourage clients who do not find a receipt in the incoming mail to pay attention to the promotional folder and the spam folder.
Payment can be made by bank transfer or online credit card payment method. Payment by bank transfer must be made no later than five days before the arrival of the guest. When a client executes a bank transaction, it is necessary to provide the Agency with a confirmation of the receipt by e-mail at: info@rentergo.com. We will confirm your booking only after receiving the deposit. The confirmation email will include further instructions for the payment of the balance.
5. FACILITIES AND DESCRIPTIONS
The accommodation facilities offered are described according to the official categorization of Croatia, in force at the time of their publication on the website, according to data from the respective facilities received by the Agency. All units comply with the categorization standards.
The price includes basic services: daily rent, bed linen, towels, equipped kitchen with kitchenware and utensils, water, electricity, gas and final cleaning. Additional services are charged separately in agreement with the owner of the accommodation unit (breakfast service, boat moorings ...)
If more than one person arrives in the reserved accommodation unit, as confirmed by the reservation, the agency has the right to deny the accommodation to unannounced Guests or to accept all Guests at an extra charge of unannounced guests on the spot.
The Agency guarantees that all descriptions of the properties have been posted in good faith and are updated regularly. Agency cannot be held responsible for changes carried out by the Owner of the property made without notifying Agency.
Your accommodation will be handed to you in tidy and clean conditions. In case you notice any irregularity or damaged inventory, please inform the Owner immediately, otherwise it will be considered that the unit is handed over in good conditions.
6. BOOKING CANCELLATIONS
6.1 Cancellation by Guest
You may cancel your holiday arrangements at any time, according to the following conditions. All notification of cancellation must be made in writing by email. On the other hand, the Agency has to confirm the cancellation in writing (by email).
Your payment will be returned to your account (the bank transfer charges and exchange rate variations will be put on your costs). If you cancel the booking within 30 days before the beginning of the stay, the Agency will not refund the deposit.
In case of a booking cancellation made by the Guest, Agency will charge the following amounts of the full booking price:
30+ days before arrival: Agency makes a refund of the paid deposit reduced by the cost of the bank transfer
29-15 days before arrival: Agency retains 10% of total reservation price (paid advance payment)
14-0 days before arrival: - 100% of the total booking price
‘no-show’ - 100% of the total booking price
6.2 Cancellation by Agency
Agency commits itself to assure to the Guest the accommodation in the reserved period, except in case of exceptional circumstances (war, riot, strike, terrorist activities, sanitary troubles, bad weather, intervention of the authorities etc.) Should we in our sole discretion consider your conduct, or the conduct of any member of your party, is likely to pose a danger or impair the safety, comfort or enjoyment of other guests, owners, employees or other members of the public, or be likely to do so; in this case, no refunds or compensation will be given.
Agency can offer changes to the reserved accommodation or cancel the accommodation completely or partly, if before or during the time of the stay special circumstances appear that cannot be avoided or declined. However, if they appear during the time of the agreement, Agency is not obligated to accept the reservation of the unit in question.
If the Guest pays the reservation Agency is unable to fulfil (online or by the wrong offer) the Guest will be offered an alternative.
If Agency has the possibility to offer the Guest an alternative, a change of the reserved accommodation can be carried out only with the permission of the Guest. The alternative must be of the same, or higher, quality than the one reserved initially. If the Guest accepts the alternative, and it is more expensive than the initial offer, the Guest is obligated to pay the difference. If the alternative is cheaper, Agency will return the difference to the Guest.
Agency has the obligation to immediately inform all arriving Guests about changes to the reservation or cancellation, and if no alternative accommodation can be found, to refund the amount paid by the Guest less the administrative charges of the agency.
Customers are required to have valid passports or other travel documents.
7. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Accommodation (unless otherwise stated in the property details and/or on the voucher) is usually available from 15.00 to 22.00 on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10.00 on the day of departure. Arrivals after 22.00 must be announced in advance.
The Guest will be welcomed by the employees of the Agency in accommodation reserved. Prior to arrival, the Guest is obliged to report to the Agency any delays or inaccuracies during the Agency's working hours. In the event that Guest does not notify the Agency of its delay or late arrival by 24.00 at the latest, the Agency will consider that the Guest has waived the reservation. we will assume the booking has been cancelled and your booking deposit/payment will be charged and the use of the booked accommodation unit is made available to other clients. In the case of extending the stay outside of the booking period, the Guest will bear all the additional costs arising from the extension of the reservation.
In the case of early departure prior to departure date, the Guest shall lose any right to a refund.
8. LIABILITY
8.1 Agency
Agency is bound to make sure all the services are carried out professionally, on its part as well as that of the accommodation facility. Also, Agency is bound to make sure that all the rights of the Guest are managed according to the common law.
Agency is bound to make sure that the Guest gets all the services included in the rented accommodation. Furthermore, Agency has to answer to the Guest in case of non-performance of the services expected.
We cannot be held responsible for any failure or interruption of services to the accommodation, including electricity, plumbing, internet connection, equipment and water, or any damage, disruption or noise caused as a result of repair works being carried out in another part of the property or in its the neighbourhood . Agency will not be held liable for injuries to persons, loss of, or damage to any property of any person staying in the accommodation unit and/or its general facilities area.
8.2 Guest
Guests commits:
To have on hand all valid travel documents. All costs for loss or theft of the documents during the travel period are carried by the Guest
to respect the customs formalities, and the rules for the foreign currency of the Republic of Croatia, as well as other countries visited during the travel
To respect the rules and regulations of the rented accommodation unit, and to collaborate with the Accommodation facility accordingly.
In case these obligations are disregarded, the Guest is responsible for all additional fees that may apply, and for all damages the Guest caused, and is bound to pay the damages to the service provider on the spot.
The Guest is personally responsible for any damages caused and shall cover the damage directly to the Owner and/or Agency.
The Guest has to respect the maximum occupancy stated in the accommodation unit description and the Owner reserves the right not to accept unannounced persons, as well as to charge additional fees if the maximum number of persons has been exceeded.
9. COMPLAINTS
If the services from the offer are not properly executed, the Guest may request a proportional damages by enclosing a written complaint on e-mail address info@rentergo.com during arrival day. Each guest has the right to complain about any paid service. Each guest - the holder of the confirmed reservation, submits the complaint separately.
The Guest is obliged to advise the service of the service provider immediately on the day of arrival and notify the agency of the inadequate service. If the Guest does not accept the solicitation of an complaint that corresponds to the paid service, the Agency is not obliged to accept a subsequent objection (if there is an adequate alternative in the same object, the Guest is obliged to accept it).
All complaints should be made during the tenancy, in first instance to the Owner, in order to give them the possibility to instigate rectification, and secondly to Agency, in order that we may investigate on your behalf
The highest compensation for the complaint can reach the amount of the advertised part of the service, and cannot include the services already used and the total amount of the service.
The Agency does not accept complaints relating to facilities that are not part of the facility (street works, beach cleanliness, condition of the facilities in the immediate vicinity, ...).
The Agency cannot be held liable for possible climatic conditions, purity and sea temperature in the destinations, and any other similar situations and events that may cause dissatisfaction with the guest, not directly related to the quality of the booked accommodation unit.
The Agency does not accept complaints for services at specially discounted rates (eg last minute booking).
10. JURISDICTION
The Guest and the agency will try to solve any disputes in good will, however in case of a judicial dispute, the court of justice is located in Zadar, with relevant law being Croatian law.
