The life of Zadar is very vivacious also outside the tourist season, the terraces of numerous cafés are open all year round, and sunny days are ideal for early coffee or a snack. 

In December, there is a manifestation called Naši mali gušti that takes place on the Peninsula for several days. It is an exhibition of food, drinks and souvenirs of the Zadar region. In recent years, the winter is time of the year when we can enjoy on the open air, because the end of the year in Zadar is often characterized by dry and often sunny weather, especially during December when the Advent festival in Zadar is organized, on the Petar Zoranić Square and in the nearby city districts Varoš and Kampo kaštelo. It is time when many people gather in the evening to take the opportunity to enjoy in mulled wine, rum punch and fritule, kroštule, sausages and other morsels accompanied by live music and entertainment.
